About handle sleeves
A built-in handle removes the need for a separate paper or plastic bag at checkout, which is increasingly a selling point for retailers cutting down on single-use packaging.
A handle sleeve is a printed sleeve with a carry handle built in, either cut into the board or attached to it. It holds a group of items together and lets the customer carry the whole set, so no extra bag is needed.
It's a good fit for multipacks, bottle sets, gift sets and take-home food. The handle's strength depends on the board and on how the handle is formed, so tell us the full weight of what the sleeve will carry. For heavier packs we'll suggest a sturdier board and a reinforced handle.

How to measure for handle sleeves
- Size for the full bundle or multipack, not a single unit, since these are usually grouped items.
- Make sure the handle cutout's position doesn't interfere with what's packed inside.

What is a sleeve with a handle?
It is a printed sleeve with a die-cut or attached carry handle. The sleeve holds a multipack or set together and doubles as a carrier, with no extra bag needed.
How much weight can a sleeve handle hold?
It depends on the board and the handle design. For heavier items such as beverage multipacks we recommend thicker board and a reinforced handle. Tell us the weight of the full pack and we'll specify it for you.
Can I get a sleeve with a handle that fits a tray or box?
Yes. A handle sleeve can wrap a tray, bottles, jars or a gift box. Give us the outside size of what goes inside and we'll lay out the handle position.
